Dallas Cowboys fall to Philadelphia Eagles in tough 37-9 loss
The Dallas Cowboys move to a record of 5-5 after a loss to the Philadelphia Eagle 37-9 Sunday night. Despite an early game gridlock, Philadelphia widened the gap after the half to come away with a long win.

Texas gymnast Simone Biles slams teammate who said women in sexy clothes entice 'wrong crowd'
Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles [blasted Gabby Douglas, another member of the 2016 U.S. gymnastics team,]( after Douglas criticized another teammate's comments on sexual assault. The chain of tweets ended with an apology from Douglas.
Biles, a native of the Houston suburb of Spring, tweeted Friday that she stood with Aly Raisman, captain of the 2012 and 2016 Olympic teams, who has accused a former national gymnastics team doctor of sexually abusing her.
Raisman, 23, describes the abuse in her book Fierce, which is out this month. She also turned to Twitter on Friday to detail her stance on sexual assault.

Trader Joe's chicken, turkey salads recalled after reports of glass fragments, silica
Three varieties of Trader Joe's ready-to-eat salads [are being recalled after reports that they may be contaminated]( with materials such as glass fragments and hard silica.
Green Cuisine, the California company that makes the salads, is recalling about 36,854 pounds of chicken and turkey salad products, the USDA announced Saturday.
The products affected are Trader Joe's White Meat Chicken Salad, Trader Joe's Curried White Chicken Deli Salad and Trader Joe's Turkey Cranberry Apple Salad. The salads were produced from Nov. 4 to Nov. 15 and all have a use-by date of Nov. 10-21, 2017.

Finally...
Mel Tillis, a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, [died early Sunday morning in Ocala, Fla.](
The suspected cause of death was respiratory failure. A spokesman for Tillis, Don Murry Grubbs, told The Associated Press that Tillis battled intestinal issues since 2016 and never fully recovered. Tillis, 85, was a singer/songwriter, writing more than 1,000 songs, but he was mostly known for his down-home humor.
In a career that spanned six decades, he recorded more than 60 albums and produced 36 top-10 singles with nine of them rising to No. 1, according to his online bio.
