The bears that live in the Kodiak Archipelago are a unique subset of Alaska brown bears. Two Kodiak cubs were recently found a very, very long way from home: [roaming a rural road]( in the Florida Panhandle. And the encounter got even stranger when they tried to play with the responding sheriff’s deputy.
