In today's newsletter: - A lot remains up in the air after Election Day in Alaska, but as vote counts rolled in, some clear story lines are emerging, including the prospect of a closely divided Alaska Legislature. - Alaska Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan violated a congressional financial law by failing to report two stock sales by the federal disclosure deadline. - A jam-rock band brings the island vibes to Anchorage this weekend, along with several other musical performances and events. In what is now Midtown Anchorage, there was once a lake that stretched along A Street, covering all of what is now Barnes and Noble and much of the Walmart parking lot. Its official name was O’Connell Lake, but local residents knew it as Blueberry Lake, Blueberry Bog or Blueberry Swamp. But what happened to it?
