Dance groups from across Alaska shook the floor of the Denaâina Center over the weekend for the first in-person Quyana performances at the Alaska Federation of Natives convention since 2019. Quyana, which means âthank youâ in Yupâik, was introduced at the 1982 convention but had been put on hold in recent years due to the pandemic.
