Most Alaskans know something about the 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill, or at least that the environmental disaster happened. But what about Alaska’s previous largest oil spill? In [his latest column]( historian David Reamer reminds us of the 1979 Lee Wang Zin oil spill and sinking, which also cost all 30 crew members of that vessel their lives.
