"I'm not having kids"  These were the words of a student of mine.  And while it's totally fine not to have kids…  I sensed a lot of anger in the way she said these words.  So I asked, “Why is that?”  She said to me, “kids are hard work. They put you back. You’re not able to make much money. You’re not able to build a business. You’re not able to travel.”  “Okay, so hypothetically, if you were to have a kid, what are some things that you would like and appreciate?”  Funny enough, she was able to list a few positive answers.  And while I wasn't there to sell her on having kids (that’s not what I’m about at all)...  I wanted to know where her STRONG ANGER on this topic came from.  We started exploring her childhood.  And I realized that her mother had projected so much onto her.  To her mother, she was never good enough.  She was always held to these unrealistic expectations.  No matter what she said, or what she did, her mom would always find something negative to say about her.  “Oh you got an A? Why didn’t you get an A plus?”  “Oh you got bullied? What did you do wrong?”  “Oh you got in trouble in school. Of course, you’re going to be expelled next if you keep acting that way”  Because of the way her mother treated her…  She started to believe that kids were bad.  "I must be terrible. My mom always goes on about how hard it was to raise me and my brothers. She doesn’t want to go anywhere with us. Life is hard. We’re just a burden”  She made up a story that children are nothing but a burden to your life.  Then as I helped her to get crystal clear on her vision…  I realized that many of the things she wanted to do sounded like things you would do with a family.  She even started to think about what it would be like to have kids in her vision.  So we started to explore it more.  Then she said, “but you can’t travel”.  And I said to her…  "I don’t believe that. I’ve got a lot of friends in the self development community who are crushing it, running events, writing bestselling books, coaching big groups, and they’re travelling the world.  They have this belief that life won’t stop. Life keeps going and their kids come along with them.  Now of course, it’s not going to be easy. But they make it work because that is what they truly want in their life.  Somewhere along the line, you gave up and you accepted that your mom was right.  But What if she was wrong?  What if she had childhood traumas of her own and she was just projecting those onto you and you bought into the lie?”  Moral of the story?  We all have the FREEDOM to challenge our beliefs about ourselves.  Because the truth is...we have looked at our parents and caregivers as a reference point to measure where we were at in the world.  If getting an A in school was not good enough for your parents, then you'll go through life thinking that you have to try even harder in order to feel good enough.  But if getting a C was good enough for your parents, then you wouldn't feel that you had to try as hard as the person who got an A in school.  Does that make sense?  If something about ourselves is not good enough for our parents then we think it's not good enough for the world.  Until of course, we CHALLENGE that belief.  And that is why I love teaching thousands of people…  As well as aspiring and experienced coaches on how to break through their CHILDHOOD BELIEFS!  Because until you can let off the CHILDHOOD BELIEFS that hold you back from going all-in as a coach…  You won't be able to serve your clients at the highest level.  You'll only be playing at 50-70% of your potential as a coach and as a leader.  And It'll be almost impossible for you to be an industry leader, creating impact on command.  You have the freedom to challenge the CHILDHOOD BELIEFS that hold you back.  And that's exactly what I do with the future industry-leading coaches that are in the A2S Academy.  If you know that that would change the game for you as an aspiring or experienced coach in 2021…  Then here's how you can have a chance to get inside the A2S Academy…  Where you'll be personally mentored by me, my A2S team and even people from my BILLION-DOLLAR NETWORK.  >>[All you need to do is reply to this email with the word "Transform" and I'll send you more details.Â](  NOTE: This is NOT a free offer.
