Would you rather be the big fish in a small pond?  Or would you rather be the small fish in a big pond?  Well, if you’re like most people…  You’d rather be the big fish in a small pond.  Why?  Because most people just want to play it safe in life.  Most people just want to settle for being looked up to by their social circle or by their co-workers.  This might be you being the most popular amongst your friend group.  It might be you scoring the highest in your class and people ask you for answers and study tips.  It might be you landing in the top position of a company.  It might also be you becoming the leader of your niche and gaining access to million dollar networks as a transformational coach.  And when you get to that point, you feel like you’re on top of the world.  You become the biggest fish in the small pond.  Now what if you were a small fish in a BIG BIG pond?  Well immediately, you’ll realize that you might’ve stood out in that small pond, but in the big pond…  You’re just like everyone else.  In fact, when you find yourself in a big pond, you’re just another small fish.  This could be you currently making $5-10,000 a month in a business that you own…  Only to be exposed to a community of people that are all smarter than you and are earning $10,000 a day.  You might’ve been prideful about being super smart and earning more than all your friends…  But as soon as you stepped into that business event, you immediately felt small.  In this moment, you have one of two choices you can make. You could either:  1. Run away from the big pond and continue to be the biggest fish in a small pond...and NEVER GROW into a BIGGER FISH!  2. OR LEARN from all the bigger fish in that big pond and grow into an EVEN BIGGER FISH  Unfortunately, the first choice is what most people will make.  Why? Because it’s safe.  Most people would feel threatened by someone doing better than them that they just want to run away.  But as Jim Rohn once said, “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with”.  In other words, you could settle for safety and comfort but you’ll stay at the same level your whole life…  Never achieving your goals (especially as February 2021 is coming to an end)...  And never fully realizing your dreams.  OR, you can step up and let the big fish in the bigger pond FORCE you to grow even higher than what you thought you were capable of.  This is a choice that I had to make for myself in the past 10 years.  Everytime I thought that I was better than everyone else, I was immediately humbled after meeting someone that was doing better than me.  But I’m so grateful that I chose to step up and learn from the people that were better than me.  I’m so grateful that I didn’t run away whenever someone called me out on my BS.  Or when someone showed me that I was capable of so much more than I thought of myself.  Because if I had run away and I had played it safe just to make myself feel good…  Would Addicted2Success even be anywhere close to where it is today?  Would I be rubbing shoulders with world class legends on my podcast or on world stages right there with them?  Heck, would I even be able to impact millions of people like A2S has done over the years?  I 100% believe that none of my achievements would be my reality today if I wasn’t willing to be the small fish in the big pond.  And I can’t even begin to tell you how quickly I’ve achieved my success just by being around people who were better than me…  Who were willing to FORCE me to grow into an even bigger fish.  So if you’ve been afraid to step out and meet people who are at a higher level than you…  I hope this email inspires you to push yourself to do so.  Because you are the AVERAGE of the 5 people you spend the most time with.  And if you have any doubts about being a small fish in a bigger pond, feel free to “reply” to this email and tell me about it.  My mission here is for you to attain your highest dreams...if you’re willing to do whatever it takes of course :) . .
