Email Preheader Text

They called my name onto the stage.  My mind was racing, palms sweating.  I was speaking for none other than Mindvalley…  One of the world's biggest platforms for personal transformation.  And I couldn’t count how many times I had practiced my 20 minute speech.  But before I went on, there was a huge problem.  I realized that the 20 minute speech I had written only lasted for 16 minutes.  I was 4 minutes short.  And I was fuming, beating myself up for being “4 mintues short”...  Even thinking to myself that the whole speech was a failure.  As I walked to the stage, all I could do was breathe and do my best.   I gave my 16 minute speech and it flowed pretty well.  Then I reached the end of my speech…  And all that happened afterwards was...SILENCE!  The only thought that crossed my mind was…  ”What do I say next?”  And within those few seconds of silence that felt like an eternity...  A tidal wave of adrenaline coursed through my veins.  I actually felt like I was going to pass out on stage.  But right as I was about to end the talk…  One person in the audience asked me a question.  As I was answering that question…  My anxiety started to fade away as if it was never there.  For the rest of the talk, I just answered one question after another.  And that was it.  I felt a little foolish by the end of it…  Thinking that my whole speech was dead just because it was 4 minutes off.  When I reflect back on this moment…  I realized that I was only being anxious and perfectionistic…  Because I was thinking only of myself.  But as soon as I focused on answering questions and serving others…  My anxiety almost went away.  Which leads me to the biggest mindshift you can make to take full control over your fear of coaching clients…  Or even giving a speech on stage.  Don't focus on being a perfectionist. Just focus on serving people  Shift your mind from "oh my god, I gotta get this right" to "how can I serve these people better?"  This is what being a leader is all about.  It's not about how mesmerizing you are when you're speaking on a podium…  It's not about how perfect your speech is…  And it's not about saying the right words.  Being a true leader is all about listening deeply to someone's questions, fears and frustrations…  And then solving those questions, fears and frustrations in a way where they can take action.  And that's why the last leg of my talk where I was just answering questions was actually super easy…  Even though I thought it was going to be the most difficult moment of my entire speech.  So just remember: whenever you're feeling overwhelming levels of anxiety to be perfect…  Focus less on yourself and focus more on serving others.  Hope you got some value out of that.  Knowing this lesson allowed me to take control whenever I get a rush of anxiety.   And it would make me so happy if this email helps at least one person to take control of their own anxiety too.  Chat with you soon. Ciao . . . P.S. I'm opening up spots for my signature Influential Coach Program for just one more week.  After the epic Niche of influence Masterclass, over 50 ambitious coaches filled in their application forms for this program.  Why? Because I'm going to be showing them the authentic transformational frameworks…  That they'll be using to create consistent transformations for their clients that most coaches would be JEALOUS of.  On top of that, unlike most coaching certifications…  I'm also going to be showing them the same exact steps that I used to build a 7 figure coaching business from scratch in the last 12 years.  Because it's one thing to be a coach and it's totally different ball-game to run a successful coaching business.  The best part?  Every single one of these coaches will have the credibility of Addicted2Success backing them.   How fast do you think you'd get clients...  If you had the seal of approval from the #1 motivational brand in the world.  You don't need to "fake it to make it" as a coach anymore.  You'll easily break through all the noise without losing your authenticity and integrity.  So if this is something that you know you need to do, then don't wait any longer.  ===>Just reply to this email with the word "Influence" and we'll have a casual chat to see if you're a good fit for this. Joel Brown Founder     ELEVATE YOUR MIND. AMPLIFY YOUR INFLUENCE. TRANSFORM YOUR LIFE.
