Email Preheader Text

Desperate for attention and approval I’ve seen too many of these “influencers” on social media...  Showing off cars, mansions, etc, that you know they rented or they can't afford...  Yet they want you to think that they bought it with their own money.  And when you look at these "influencers"...  You can tell that they're putting on a mask...  And that they don't actually feel great about themselves.  You can tell they're desperate for attention and approval.  And that they're getting it from such an unhealthy space.  I work with lots of people who want to build brands and businesses...  But I can see they're still trying to be the "influencer"...  Trying to get free lattes in cafés in exchange for bringing in more customers to the cafe by posting about it on social media.  In other words, I see wayyyy too many "influencers" that only care about the money and approval.  And this is the difference between an "influencer" and a LEADER.  The “influencer” can influence people to buy a product, watch a video or go to their website...  But just because an “influencer” can influence people to do something...  It doesn't mean that they're a LEADER.  The LEADER is all about EMPOWERING people.  The leader moves people to live within their deepest values.  The leader turns people INTO LEADERS themselves.  Leaders of their own future.  And when people become leaders...  Those new leaders will now inspire their families, friends and everyone else around them to become leaders of their own.  The main difference between an “influencer” and a leader is the INTENTION behind what they do.  Are they doing it just for money?  Are they desperate for people to like them?  (This is what an influencer would do)  Or do they have the INTENTION to empower their followers to step up themselves and live out their own visions and values?  (This is what a leader would do)  And you can't be a leader that leads others without leading yourself FIRST.  That's like a water faucet that's not purified yet.  Sure, the water faucet is giving you water so you can survive.  But the water hasn't been purified so there's all sorts of bacteria inside it...  And drinking it will lead to health problems.  So when I'm coaching the students who want to build their own brand...  I challenge them to step into leadership everytime.  If you aspire to build a brand that empowers others...  Then I challenge you to step up even more by becoming a leader.  The world needs more leaders, especially during times of crisis.  Your family and friends need a leader.  And you can step in by leading yourself FIRST...  Which will turn you into the kind of leader that even your future kids will look up to and say...  "Wow, my mom/dad is a gangsta. I wanna be just like them" ;)  Now, you’re probably wondering…  “Joel, how do I lead myself FIRST?”  Well, the first step is by building CERTAINTY within yourself.  And how do you build CERTAINTY within yourself?  By moving closer towards your vision daily.  Everytime you see the visions you have inside your head come out into reality right in front of you...  The confidence you have within yourself goes up dramatically.  You start to believe that whatever you set your mind to will come true as long as you take action on it.  And the more you bring your vision into reality…  The more CERTAINTY you build…  Which in turn TRANSFORMS you into the TRUE LEADER that everyone around you looks up to.  So ask yourself.  Are you just aspiring to be an "influencer" or are you striving towards TRUE LEADERSHIP?  I hope this email inspires you to think about something you haven’t thought about before.  Talk to you soon.
