Let's talk about perfectionism... And before you read the entire email, be rea I've struggled for a long time with trying to be perfect... And most of this stems from my childhood and how my mom raised me. Cuz my mom was a perfectionist. I was never allowed to be wrong. I was never allowed to make a mistake. I grew up walking on eggshells, afraid that if I did something wrong, I'd come under my mom's wrath. So how did I cope with this as a little kid? I TRIED TO BE PERFECT. I thought that if I just never made a mistake... or if I was never wrong... Then I'd finally be good enough for her... It's pretty sad when you think about it. Because it is because of perfectionism... ...that so many ships never set sail to the epic adventures and destinations that await them beyond the horizon. And that's exactly what I don't want for you. It is because of perfectionism that so many rags to riches stories never happened in the first place... It is because of perfectionism that so many books never get published... It is because of perfectionism that so many businesses never start... It is because of perfectionism that so many people are afraid to put themselves out there... It pains me to see it because it's hurting people in the inside. and not only them, it's hurting everyone around them too. If there's something thing that I want you to learn from this email, it's gonna be 2 things: 1. Stop trying to be perfect 2. Take IMPERFECT ACTION. Nobody isn't PERFECT. Not me, not my team, not even my mentors who I paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to learn from. Guess what, the personal heroes who you look up to? They're not perfect too. It's ok if your selfie videos are not perfect... It's ok if your instagram captions are not perfect... It's ok if you can't speak perfectly... It's ok if you still can't perfectly implement what your coach is trying to tell you do. The truth is that nobody can. Achieving success isn't about being perfect, it's about consistency. If you take little steps every single day... If you add one brick at a day... You'll be standing on the top floor of a sky-scraper before you even know it. And guess what, that's exactly what happened to me. And yeah take a deep breath and exhale cuz I know I definitely did get riled up in this email haha. I hope this email will forever remind you how useless PERFECTIONISM is. Enjoy the rest of your Saturday . . . . [Joel Brown](mailto:info@addicted2success.com) Sincerely, Joel Brown info@addicted2success.com P.S.Thank You So Much! You may not know it but I'm so happy. And if you don't have yet, what's stopping you from having them? Take the time to go really deep, the deeper you go, the easier it is for me to help you on my next emails ;)) I literally just spent 2hrs today reading all the emails I got. I want to know your story, and your struggles, which is why I'm sharing mine. Have a great day! . . .
