Hi there — My name is David McMillan. I’m Adam Schiff’s Little Brother. I hope you?

[Adam Schiff for Senate]( Hi there — My name is David McMillan. I’m Adam Schiff’s Little Brother. I hope you’ll allow me a few moments to talk about my relationship with Adam, and why his campaign for the U.S. Senate means so much to me personally. When I was five years old, my mother took me to the Big Brothers of Greater Los Angeles and helped me fill out an application. In it, I said that I had three wishes: for a Big Brother, a puppy, and a beautiful world. Adam had recently moved to Los Angeles and, one day, he walked into the same Big Brothers office to volunteer. And of all the applications he looked at that day, he chose mine. We were paired up for a day, and Adam brought me to the beach in Venice where he was living at the time. After an afternoon of battling the crashing waves and having a blast, we dubbed ourselves “The Survivors.” It was an incredible day and the start of one of the most important relationships in my life. After being on a waiting list, I finally had a Big Brother. [two throwback photos of Adam and his brother, David. On the left, young David gets a piggy back ride from Adam; on the right, David in a cap and gown next to Adam]( Here we are at the start and at my Yale graduation Our relationship has only grown in the many years since. Adam and I have been in each other’s lives for decades, cheering each other on and becoming a true family. He was there for me when I graduated from college and became a TV and film screenwriter. I was there for him when he became a State Senator, a Congressman, and when he served as impeachment manager in Donald Trump’s first trial. These days, since I’m not so “little” anymore, I refer to Adam as my brother – because in all the important ways, he is. He’s the kind of person we need more of in the Senate. Someone who will always fight to do the right thing — even if it’s not always the easy thing. I’ve seen Adam’s dedication over the years, and I’ve experienced the kindness and generosity Adam has to offer — not just to his friends and family, but to everyone. [Thanks for reading about my relationship with Adam. If you’re able to, please pitch in a small contribution to his campaign ahead of the primary election tomorrow so that he makes it to the United States Senate.]( If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [EXPRESS DONATE $10]( [EXPRESS DONATE $25]( [EXPRESS DONATE $50]( [EXPRESS DONATE $100]( [EXPRESS DONATE $250]( [ANOTHER AMOUNT]( We were brought together because we both wanted to see a beautiful world. And that’s the future Adam will fight for in the U.S. Senate. Thank you so much for reading and for supporting my brother, Adam. — David McMillan [DONATE MONTHLY]( 135 E.
