[Adam Schiff for Senate]( Hi there — My team has been extra busy lately, and with our final debate tomorrow evening and just 15 days until California’s U.S. Senate primary election, we’re not slowing down. But today, I wanted to take a moment to celebrate my 29th wedding anniversary with my beautiful wife, Eve. If you had told me that a blind date with Eve Sanderson in Los Angeles for tennis would lead to the life and family we’ve built together, I might have made it to the tennis courts on time. (I was late.) I’m convinced that she only went out with me for Italian food and a jazz bar later because — how often does an Eve go out with an Adam? She’s been an amazing partner. We’ve gone vegan (her first, plant-based whole foods, while I am of the Oreo cookie-eating variety), weathered Trump’s tantrums and threats, and heard the (many, many) Adam & Eve jokes — together. Eve is a private person, who just happens to be married to a very public figure. I know you don’t hear from her often, but she is the rock that holds our family together. Since our anniversary is the same week as Valentine’s Day, it can be kind of a rip, with the two often getting merged into one celebration. The home stretch of this campaign isn’t making that any easier (I even had to sneak away from our Valentine’s Day dinner to take a call from my campaign manager this week), but despite that, she’s still my number one supporter. While I carve out some time to spend with Eve later tonight in between debate preparation and campaign events, I would really appreciate your help to keep our campaign fundraising on pace in the final days of this primary election. [Can you chip in $10? It costs millions of dollars to advertise across California — resources we have built up for more than a year. We need to replenish our resources and finish this primary with the momentum to win.]( If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [EXPRESS DONATE $10]( [EXPRESS DONATE $25]( [EXPRESS DONATE $50]( [EXPRESS DONATE $100]( [EXPRESS DONATE $250]( [ANOTHER AMOUNT]( I couldn’t do any of this without Eve — or without the support of this incredible grassroots team. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
