Folks — let’s face it: Donald Trump’s admiration for dictators like Vladimir Putin is

[Adam Schiff for Senate]( Folks — let’s face it: Donald Trump’s admiration for dictators like Vladimir Putin is a serious danger to our country — and to democracies worldwide — if he ever returned to the Oval Office. Last weekend, Trump said he would encourage Russia to “do whatever the hell they want” to NATO member nations that haven’t spent enough on defense. It’s hard to view it any other way than Trump egging on Russia to attack our allies, and that the United States should turn its back on NATO allies. I’m deeply alarmed. When Trump was president, I investigated his blackmail threat against Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to dig up dirt on Joe Biden, or else not receive congressionally-approved U.S. military assistance to defend against Russia’s aggression. We impeached him, and I led his Senate trial — and I warned that he would do this again. Trump continues to forsake our allies. He is aligning our country with dictators, and betraying fellow democracies, in an effort to upend our constitutional system of checks and balances and insulate himself from all democratic accountability. It would destabilize our security. Our economy. Our democracy. Donald Trump’s shallow ego admires the autocratic personalities of despots like Putin and Kim Jong Un. He’s willing to give up the United States’ historic responsibility of defending democracy. We can’t let him. I have sounded the alarm to make sure every voter knows the true threat another Donald Trump presidency would pose to our country. I will continue to hold him to account for his willingness to bend to Putin’s will — just as I have done for the past several years. But this role of holding him accountable would become even more important in the Senate – where many of his staunch supporters reside. [In the U.S. Senate, I will hold Trump’s feet to the fire and make sure the United States remains committed to our allies in NATO. Will you please pitch in to my campaign while I continue to defend democracy, both here at home and abroad?]( If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [EXPRESS DONATE $10]( [EXPRESS DONATE $25]( [EXPRESS DONATE $50]( [EXPRESS DONATE $100]( [EXPRESS DONATE $250]( [ANOTHER AMOUNT]( When Trump attacked me this week for my involvement in the “failed and fully debunked, Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax,” as he called it, he showed how afraid he is of what I will do if I make it to the U.S. Senate.
