Just voted to expel Santos

George Santos’ dirty tactics and lies were an extreme case, but all too emblematic of a morally bankrupt MAGA movement. [Adam Schiff for Senate]( {NAME}, I just voted to expel George Santos from the House of Representatives. And in a decisive 311-114 vote, he was finally removed from office. Expulsion is a rare event in the House, and for good reason. Someone elected by their constituents should not be easily or lightly removed, even by the necessary two-thirds vote in the House. But in the case of George Santos, expulsion was exactly the right remedy. After stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from his campaign and donors, a 23-count indictment, a House Ethics Committee investigation, and two former campaign aides pleading guilty to fraud, he needed to go.
