The level of acceptable discourse in this country has never been lower â and itâs not only due to Donald Trump, but to powerful figures in the far-right media like Sean Hannity. [Adam Schiff for Senate]( {NAME}, you may not know this about me, but I do a bit of moonlighting as a stand-up comic. And trust me, Iâm not giving up my day job. So take it from me when I say, as the target of Sean Hannityâs stand-up set at the Fox Nation Patriot Awards show in Nashville, heâs a pretty lame comedian. Here he is, comparing my last name to âsh*t.â How original. âA lot of you complained to my bosses and you say 'Hannity curses on the air because he says itâs a complete sh*tshow.' But if you listen closely, Iâm saying, because Adam Schiff is a piece of sh*t, but if you say Schiff and sh*t together, you know, you can mix it up. But I never said it wrong on TV. I said itâs a complete Adam Schiff show.â â Sean Hannity Iâm flattered, by the way. While simultaneously more than a little disturbed.
