You’ve been saving up for a big trip overseas. You’ve booked your airfare, your hotels, your tours, and your museum tickets. [Adam Schiff for Senate]( Hey Team — Picture this: You’ve been saving up for a big trip overseas. You’ve booked your airfare, your hotels, your tours, and your museum tickets. You’ve found a dog- or cat-sitter. You’ve found someone to water your plants while you’re away. You’ve taken time off work. Then, the sinking feeling sets in — your passport has expired, and with current delays in processing times with the State Department, you have to cancel your trip. This isn’t a fictional story, folks. It’s a stress-inducing reality for far too many. There is a massive backlog of passport applications; even expedited services are taking longer than usual. That’s why I’m joining my Republican colleague, Buddy Carter, and a bipartisan group of Representatives to pass the Passport Modernization Act. This legislation will help speed up the passport application process by increasing State Department staff, improving online services, and coming up with methods to reduce these delays. I’m going to continue working hard in Congress to deliver tangible results for families, even as we run this campaign for the U.S. Senate, and that includes making sure people can make their well-deserved travel plans. So what do you say? [If you support these efforts, please join me in supporting the Passport Modernization Act.]( [ADD YOUR NAME]( Thank you for supporting this important legislation. And if you have travel plans coming up, be sure to check your passport’s expiration date! — Adam [Adam Schiff for Senate Banner]( [DONATE MONTHLY]( 135 E.
