We’ve already hit dozens of stops on our California for All tour since we launched our Senate campaign, with no plans to slow down anytime soon. [Adam Schiff for Senate]( {NAME}, My favorite part of campaigning is getting to meet people and hear what’s on their minds. Hearing their challenges, their passions, what brings them joy, and what motivates them to get involved – this is what I LOVE to do! And it’s these stories and priorities I’ll be taking with me to the Senate. We’ve already hit dozens of stops on our California for All tour since we launched our Senate campaign, with no plans to slow down anytime soon. [I want to share with you what I’m hearing at these campaign stops, and I’m hoping you’ll chip in a few bucks at the end to keep us out on the road in the weeks and months ahead!]( 🌳 There’s no doubt about it — the climate crisis is here, and California is bearing the brunt of its effects. This year alone, folks in our state have faced historic winter storms and devastating flash floods — and wildfire season will be here soon. That’s why I’m a champion for the Green New Deal, a comprehensive plan to invest in clean energy and create millions of green, new jobs to save our planet and bolster our economy. 📚 Meeting college students is always inspiring. Our future is in good hands with this next generation. But young people deserve to be set up for success as they finish up school — not saddled with crippling student loan debt. It’s high time we cancel student debt for millions of Americans and make college affordable, as I told students at UC Davis and UC San Diego. 🏘️ Housing that’s affordable in California is hard to find. In meetings with constituents, mayors, state legislators, and voters, I’ve been told countless times how unaffordable housing costs are for hardworking families. In Congress, I’ve worked to secure funding for housing and to get people off the street, and I’ll do just the same in the Senate. 💕 I met with local leaders in the LGBTQ community in San Francisco and Los Angeles and heard the profound concerns raised over the attack on equal rights. Right-wing extremists have been relentless in going after trans kids and the LGBTQ community. It’s time for us all to step up and defend the most vulnerable citizens among us in the trans community, and to continue the fight for equality. 💰 I met with workers in coffee shops and restaurants around the state who told me that their wages just aren’t keeping up with the cost of life. They can’t afford their rent, eggs, and medicine. We need to create an economy that works for everyone — not just those at the top. {NAME}, these are only a handful of the issues people brought up on the road — and with every handshake and conversation, I learn more about the unique problems people in our state are facing. I’m ready to get back out on the road to keep up these conversations and address these issues head-on.
