The surprise is this: I want to give Adam a birthday card signed by his favorite team of grassroots supporters, by all of you. [Adam Schiff for Congress]( Hi {NAME} — it’s Eve, Adam’s wife. And yes, we’ve heard all of the jokes. (Adam claims I only went out with him on our first date as a curiosity — which is, mostly, an exaggeration.) As you can imagine with all that Adam has on his plate right now — running the intelligence committee, holding Trump accountable, preparing for the midterms — he has been understandably very very busy. He’s working day in and day out to fight for our democracy and for his constituents. Adam’s dedication to our country is admirable, and I’m proud of him, but I know sometimes this job can wear down on him — it would wear down on anyone. But today is his birthday, and I want to make sure he knows how much we all appreciate him. That’s why I’m planning a little birthday surprise for him. I’m taking him to see To Kill a Mockingbird this weekend (the play), but that’s not the surprise. The surprise is this: I want to give Adam a birthday card signed by his favorite team of grassroots supporters, by all of you. [Can you add your name to Adam’s birthday card today? It’ll only take a minute, but it will mean the world to him. (And me, too!)]( [SIGN THE CARD]( I can’t tell you how much your support means to me and Adam. Thank you for always having his back. — Eve 150 E.
