A reported draft decision from the Supreme Court outlawing reproductive freedoms [Adam Schiff for Congress]( {NAME}, There are no words. A reported draft decision from the Supreme Court outlawing reproductive freedoms is devastating — for women, for our country, for us all. And I want to take a moment to make a few things clear: A woman’s right to choose is not something that a group of conservative justices should decide. A woman’s right to make her own health care decisions is not up to conservative lawmakers either. A woman’s decision to have an abortion is her decision to make, and hers alone. That must not change. Not now. Not ever. We can’t go back. We cannot allow a partisan decision by a partisan court to force us back to the days of back-alley abortions and state-mandated restrictions on the freedoms of women. It is simply unacceptable. As we process this news with anger, grief, and sadness, we must also use it as a moment to strengthen our resolve. This must be a moment for action. Action in Congress where our leaders must codify reproductive freedoms into law and pass the Women’s Health Protection Act. Action in our state houses and legislatures to beat back each and every attempt by Republicans to ban abortions. There is so much to be done. And I stand ready to ensure this partisan decision from a partisan court does not stand. [If you are with me, I’d encourage you today to support these organizations working on the frontline for reproductive freedom with a donation. I’ve included a list of courageous, pro-choice, pro-women, pro-justice groups below that are doing important work on the ground in the South where reproductive freedoms are most under attack and across the country. 100% of your donation will go to these organizations.]( [DONATE]( - ARC-Southeast — an organization that provides support and resources to women seeking abortion care in the South - The Center for Reproductive Rights — a global organization protecting the right to choose - The Clinic Access Support Network — which helps connected women with the reproductive support and resources they need - Whole Woman’s Health Alliance — a collective that supports opening health clinics across the country, especially in states with restrictive laws - SisterSong: Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective — a reproductive justice group helping women of color access equitable care - The National Latina Institute for Reproductive Justice — which works to secure the right to reproductive health and justice This list is not exhaustive, and there are so many individuals and organizations helping secure the right to choose and the broader right to equitable reproductive and health care. I hope you can find a moment to support them as we continue the fight. [If you can, please make a donation today to support these organizations working for reproductive freedom at a time when they need it the most.
