Hi, {NAME}. I’ll keep this quick. I’ve been pretty busy recently, and it looks like that’s not going to change any time soon. I’m focused on the critical work in Congress, but I wanted to ask if you can help with another responsibility that’s important to me, and to the country. Last year, I agreed to be the Frontline Finance Chair for the House Democrats, which means I signed up to help make sure our frontline members have the resources they need to win their reelection. And I was happy to do it, because these are the members who gave us the Majority that’s allowing us to do the critical work we’re doing for the country now. And they’re up against a wave of Republican money trying to take them down. We can’t let them, {NAME}. Like I said, I’m keeping this quick, but I asked one of the frontline members, Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, to write you a quick note about what she has been up to in Congress and what your support means. If you’d consider supporting both of us, it would mean a lot. Thanks, Adam [DONATE]( --------------------------------------------------------------- Hi {NAME}, I’m Debbie Mucarsel-Powell: a first-generation American, an immigrant, a mother, and the proud Democratic Representative of Florida’s 26th District in Congress. I was so honored to receive support from so many people like you in 2018’s election. Ever since, I have been laser-focused on fighting for laws that will lift up working families in Florida and all across the country. Before coming to Congress, I devoted my career to expanding access to affordable healthcare as associate dean at the Florida International University Medical School. That fight continues here in Washington. We’ve been able to pass legislation to lower prescription drug prices, as well as fend off multiple GOP attacks on protections for those with pre-existing conditions. But if we’re going to continue making progress on this issue and so many others -- like protecting our environment and passing common-sense gun safety legislation -- we absolutely need to hold our Democratic House Majority come November. That’s where you come in. You brought the Blue Wave and the most diverse Congress in U.S. history in 2018. Let’s do it again in 2020: pitch in $10 or more now to help Adam and I win our re-election campaigns and hold the House so we can keep making progress.
