[Adam Schiff for Senate]( Friend, every single day I show up to work prepared to represent my constituents and protect our democracy from the many attacks it has faced in recent years. And for doing that work, I am attacked and smeared by the GOP. Just one year ago, Republicans decided to censure me in Congress. A false and defamatory resolution on a party-line vote. And a badge of honor. But we didn’t take attacks on me or on our democracy sitting down. With the help of my fellow Democrats in Congress and grassroots supporters like YOU, we fought back. If I learned anything from my censure last year, it is that MAGA Republicans will not slow down in their efforts to keep me from being elected to the Senate. Trump has attacked me over and over and suggested that I will be jailed if he is elected, along with the rest of the January 6 Committee members. His MAGA lackeys have followed suit, bowing to his every will and word. But I will never stop fighting for the rule of law in this country. I will never back down from holding Trump accountable, no matter the cost. I’ve long said that the effort to censure me was bigger than just me — it was about the Republican Party’s desire to punish anyone who speaks out against them or their leader Donald Trump.
