Team, One year ago today, House Republicans’ scheme to censure me and fine me $16 million faile

[Adam Schiff for Senate]( Team, One year ago today, House Republicans’ scheme to censure me and fine me $16 million failed to pass in a bipartisan vote. The story could have ended there, but it didn’t. Because Donald Trump got personally involved and threatened to support the primary challenger of any House Republican who voted against censuring me a second time. And because Kevin McCarthy, who was Speaker of the House at the time, was personally invested in seeing me punished for my work to hold Trump accountable. They brought up another censure resolution against me. If you recall, just days before this censure vote, Donald Trump was indicted on federal charges of mishandling classified documents by Special Counsel Jack Smith. Trump’s Republican lackeys in Congress wanted to do something to distract the media attention surrounding their leader — so they came after me again. On Fox News, GOP members of Congress attacked me and spread lie after lie about me. The lead sponsor of the bogus resolution went on convicted criminal Steve Bannon’s online show to rally far-right support. And this time it passed, on a purely partisan vote on the House floor. The attacks have persisted. Donald Trump and his allies continue to come after me at campaign rallies and on cable news. All because I was willing to hold him accountable by leading his impeachment, as my oath of office demanded. He will never forgive me for that. But as I said last year, it was a badge of honor. We will continue to fight for what is right, true, and just, no matter what obstacles MAGA Republicans put in our way. As FDR once said, there are times when you can judge a person by the enemies they have made. By that standard, I’m doing pretty damn well. [With your support, I will continue battling the MAGA world from the United States Senate — the last place Donald Trump wants me to be. Please chip in $10 or any amount ahead of our mid-month fundraising deadline tomorrow.]( If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [EXPRESS DONATE $10]( [EXPRESS DONATE $25]( [EXPRESS DONATE $50]( [EXPRESS DONATE $100]( [EXPRESS DONATE $250]( [ANOTHER AMOUNT]( Team, the attacks over the last year have not stopped me from my work to hold Donald Trump and his loyal followers accountable for their criminality and indecency. Now, we are closer than ever to bringing this movement for justice and democracy to the floor of the United States Senate, where I can take on many of Trump’s biggest enablers directly. Your support has helped me keep up this work. Thank you. Adam [Adam Schiff for Senate Banner; text Schiff to 724433]( [DONATE MONTHLY]( 135 E.
