Conservative Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’ wife attended Trump’s Stop the Steal rally on January 6th and coordinated with Trump Chief of Staff Mark Meadows about how to steal the election. Following Trump’s appointments of Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett, for the first time in American history, a majority of current Supreme Court justices have been appointed by presidents who lost the popular vote. And in a shocking political gift to Donald Trump, they have delayed hearing the Justice Department’s January 6th case. And as we all know, justice delayed is justice denied. As a former Assistant U.S. Attorney, I never could have imagined the current politicization of the Supreme Court under Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell.
