Instead, they are appointed by the USPS’ Board of Governors, who are subject to Senate approval. Right now, the Board of Governors has a pro-DeJoy majority, with multiple members nominated by Donald Trump, and two vacancies for which President Biden has yet to name his nominees — vacancies that have remained open for months. [We are running out of the precious little time we have remaining to replace the dangerously destructive presence of Louis DeJoy at USPS — before his mismanagement interferes with another presidential election.
