We’ve received many questions in regard to the [Global Cyber Summit 2020]( in Miami this October 19-21. After close consultation with our executive team and our partners in the industry, we’re planning to host the event as currently scheduled at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel. Our teams are continuing to plan for different scenarios, including a virtual conference, should the need arise. In this time of uncertainty, what we can say with certainty is that the safety of our employees, partners and customers come first. Since our inaugural Global Cyber Summit in Miami last year, our teams have been hard at work preparing to welcome you back to Miami Beach. You likely have many questions, so we’ve put together answers to the most pressing questions as we continue to monitor and plan during this very fluid situation. Frequently Asked Questions: Conference Registration: All registrants will automatically be registered for the virtual experience at no charge if it is added. Registrants of the Acronis Global Cyber Summit 2020 have three options with respect to registrations: - Keep your conference registration for the Acronis Global Cyber Summit in 2020, with a commitment for a full refund of the registration fee extended through June 1; or - Apply your 2020 conference registration towards the Acronis Global Cyber Summit in 2021: or - Request a full a refund of your registration fee, which we will honor, with 100 percent money back, extending to June 1, 2020. Hotel Registration: - Registrants that booked a hotel room at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, as part of the Acronis Global Cyber Summit room block, can maintain their hotel booking or cancel per the terms of their reservation if they decide to not attend. - Registrants that booked their room elsewhere, outside of our room block, should contact the hotel directly and cancel the reservation if they no longer wish to join. Sponsorship: Sponsors of the Acronis Global Cyber Summit 2020 have the following options with respect to their sponsorship: - Maintain 2020 sponsorship package and level: or - Apply 2020 sponsorship package and level to the Acronis Global Cyber Summit 2021: or - Request a full refund, which we will honor through June 1, 2020. Q: I would like a refund of my conference registration fee. What do I do? A: Please contact SummitReservations@acronis.com and notify us by June 1 that you would like to cancel your registration. We will issue a full refund for the pass or group package you purchased at the time of registration. A confirmation email and refund receipt will be emailed to the email address you used at the time of purchase. Refunds can take 5-7 business days to post to your credit card. Q: Will Acronis provide reimbursement for airfare if I decide to no longer attend? A: No, Acronis will not provide reimbursement for airfare. Many airlines are offering flexible refund options at this time due to the COVID-19 situation. Please contact your airline directly to review options. Do you have more questions?
