I wanna do something different for you today. Woke up this morning thinking… “What if I shared what my average morning routine would look like?” And I started to get giddy just thinking about it. Because you can have all the world-class strategies for living an amazing life… But if you don't have the energy and habits to apply them… Then you'll be like an aeroplane that never takes off. So for this email, I highly recommend grabbing a note-pad and pen ready. Let's begin! The first thing I do after I wake up is 20 minutes of exercise to wake my body and brain up. This allows me to be as "sharp as a tack", as Jordan Belfort would say. Then I do 20 minutes of self-development. This includes reading a book or listening to a podcast. Now, I understand that everyone learns differently. Some people are more auditory learners. Some are more visual learners. And some are more kinesthetic meaning they have to be out there taking action for them to fully learn something. So however you learn best, do that for 20 minutes a day. IMPORTANT: you don't want to be rushing through the book, audio, or whatever you're doing to learn something new. I have people telling me, “I want to read 100 books”. It’s a noble goal to have. But what people do is focus on achieving the goal as fast as possible… That they end up rushing through their book. It's a waste of time if you rush your learning. Our brain can only take about 5% of what we learn at a time. So whenever I’m reading a book or listening to an audio... I’m always looking for that ONE IDEA. The ONE IDEA that I know is going to move the needle in my business, self-development, or whatever it is that I want to learn. Then I would take that ONE IDEA and MEDITATE on it for 15 minutes. I ask myself questions like… How can I tie it into my life? How can I go deeper into this ONE IDEA? What story can I take away from it? Sometimes I get so excited because I just came up with amazing ideas or new concepts just out of that ONE IDEA alone… And all I want to do is jump out of my meditation and write it down on a sheet of paper. But I sit with the ONE IDEA and I let it expand within the cathedral of my mind. Then finally, I spend the last 5 minutes, VISUALIZING what I want my day, my month, my year, and my 10-year vision to look like. This visualization allows me to live in my vision and make it stronger. And the stronger it becomes, the more inspired I am to take MASSIVE ACTION to achieve my visions. Now, sometimes I may not do the whole 20/20/20 routine. But doing each routine for just 5 minutes a day is much better than doing nothing. It's like going to the gym. Sometimes you might not have all the time you want to do every workout. But if you can go to the gym and do a percentage of your workouts… You can at least maintain that muscle mass. It’s easier to maintain your routine than it is to try and get back into your routine after you’ve lost it. So to recap my 20/20/20 routine. - 20 minutes of exercise - 20 minutes of learning (I take out ONE IDEA that I want to dive into) - 15 minutes of meditation on my ONE IDEA - 5 minutes of visualization on my visions It would make me so happy if you applied this the next morning you wake up. I love hearing my Tribe members win… So let me know how this works out for you once you apply this. Alright. Alright. Alright. That’s it for today. I’ll chat with you tomorrow. Ciao :) . .
