This is what separates the top 10% from the bottom 90% Yesterday, I showed you the story of one of the scariest moments of my life. The time where I had planned a 20-minute speech only for it to be 16 minutes. And it was on one of the biggest personal development platforms, Mindvalley. My heart was racing because I thought my speech was ruined and I had no idea what I would do in those last 4 minutes. But in the end, I just answered questions. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. And that’s the thing about getting uncomfortable. You always think something is going to be worse than it actually is. And this is what separates the bottom 90% of people who never achieve their desires… And the top 10% of top performers, millionaires and leaders that people look up to… Who are living a life of abundance and fulfilment on a daily. It’s the ability to get Comfortable with the Uncomfortable And this is something that my business partner and great friend, Ray Pang figured out on his entrepreneurial journey. Ray is the co-owner of Speaker Agency, which has become Australia's leading marketing force for online coaches and speakers who want to dominate their industry. The craziest part is that he had achieved all of this while gaining a global team of over 30 members in just one year. I’ve had the pleasure of having him come on to teach my students (who are on their way to becoming Influential Coaches). Here's a short life-defining summary of what he said. The more pain you’ll have, the more success you’ll see. The more frustration you have, the more fulfilled you will be. . And the more triggered you are, the higher your awareness. See, society has indoctrinated all of us to be comfortable. The system is set up in a way that incentivizes you to be an employee. Why? - because the elites need employees. If everyone went around building their own businesses… Or knowing what it took to build wealth… Then the elites wouldn't have enough employees. This is why the school system is designed not to teach you how to succeed as a CREATOR, innovator or Entrepreneur. It only teaches you to be an employee and follow orders. "I'm not good enough" "Failures and mistakes are bad" "I'm too old/short/ugly/fat/this or that to go for my dreams" Where do all of these negative beliefs come from? Did you have them when you were a child? Nope. Your negative beliefs were programmed into your mind by society. If you believe that failures and mistakes are bad… It's probably because the school system punished you when you failed a test. So that FORCED you to think that you needed to be perfect before you took action.  But the top performers of the world think the opposite. Thomas Edison failed 10,000 times before his lightbulb invention worked.  Michael Jordan got kicked out of his high school basketball team.  Walt Disney was fired from a newspaper for "lacking imagination" and "having no original ideas". The top performers of the world do not see failure as failure. They see failure as a stepping stone to success. But failure is uncomfortable. One of my biggest growth moments was the speech I did in Mindvalley (which I talked about in my last email). And it's because it was super UNCOMFORTABLE that I had GROWN as a person and as an Influential Coach. Society teaches you to be comfortable. But there is NO GROWTH inside the comfort zone. This is the key to an amazing and fulfilling life. A life that you are proud to live and a life that inspires your loved ones and your coaching clients to level up. ===>[What’s one thing that’s making you uncomfortable right now that you know you need to take action on?](mailto:info@addicted2success.com) Would love to see your replies.  Other than that, hope you have an amazing rest of your day (or night). . .
