Most common is a lack of resources. Well, based on my personal experience, here are 11 resources or skills you donât need to have to grow a successful online business: - You donât need to have connections. When I started I knew no one. And no one knew me.
- You donât need to have lots of start-up capital. I started with $850 bucks, and never had to invest another dime of my own money after that. Â
- You donât need to be super-tech-savvy. I only knew how to send emails when I first started. And since it was before content management systems like WordPress and page-builders like Clickfunnels, I learned just enough about Microsoft FrontPage to set up my marketing pages. And it worked fine. Â
- You donât need to be a great salesperson. Iâm still not a great salesperson. Nor do I enjoy one-on-one selling.

I have no ambition to lose my life on the post-road between St. Petersburgh and Archangel. I shall depart for the latter town in a fortnight or three weeks; and my intention is to hire a ship there, which can easily be done by paying the insurance for the owner, and to engage as many sailors as I think necessary among those who are accustomed to the whale-fishing. I do not intend to sail until the month of June; and when shall I return? Ah, sister, how can I answer this question?
