I don't normally do this, but...

Couple days ago I had my first ever call with a "mindset coach". She’s one of the coaches in a group I pay a pretty penny for. I was hesitant booking the call cuz I’m not typically into the "woo woo" stuff. It’s a lil too fluffy (and sometimes cringe) for me. But I went in with an open mind and without an agenda. We ended up chatting for over an hour. And I truly believe the insights that came from this call will be worth millions of dollars to my biz once implemented. We talked about a LOT. Challenges, fears, limiting beliefs, having fun everyday, blasting through "upper limits", judging others, and more. But I wanted to share 3 questions she asked me that led to a fantastic discussion… === 1. What feels like play to you? I love writing, creating, and learning everyday. I love working with my high-level consulting and coaching clients. I look forward to every call I have with them and can talk for hours on end. Because it feels like PLAY. Nothing makes me happier than seeing them get epiphanies and use my tools to change their lives for the better. And I could spend everyday doing it. So what feels like play to you? Write down anything you do where you lose track of time because you enjoy it so much. 2. What feels like a drain to you? It’s a drain when I have to mess with technology. It’s a drain when I have to edit content like my YouTube videos. It’s a drain when I have to spend personal time coaching beginners on stuff like "picking a niche" or "setting up a website". It’s also become a drain recently to work with done-for-you clients. If you’re spending time and energy on stuff that’s a drain… You’re taking away from play time. Where you do your best work. So write down your drains and see if there’s a way you can do less of it. 3. What can you do right now to play more without the drain? I can get help with my content. I just hired someone for $2k/mo who will manage my YouTube content and also help me enter the short-form content game (Shorts/Reels/TikToks). I can reposition my beginner level offers so I’m not spending personal time coaching on beginner topics. Currently mapping out what this looks like for my Email Side Hustle program. I can offload some of my done-for-you clients. Potentially give them to my best students who’ve been trained on my stuff. And I can tailor more of my campaigns to attract the higher-level clients I love working with. Doing all this gives me more time and energy to play. Overall it was an awesome experience. I spent the last couple days mapping out what my "perfect biz" looks like and will have a follow-up chat with her as I put my plan into motion. And I have new energy and clarity I lacked before. Just wanted to share this because it turns out a lot of this biz stuff is affected by your mindset. Who'd have thunk it? So run through this exercise for yourself. I shall depart for the latter town in a fortnight or three weeks; and my intention is to hire a ship there, which can easily be done by paying the insurance for the owner, and to engage as many sailors as I think necessary among those who are accustomed to the whale-fishing. I do not intend to sail until the month of June; and when shall I return? Ah, sister, how can I answer this question?
