Let’s talk about what makes a delicious Main Course offer. Any guesses on why we start with the Main Course before Samples and Appetizers? Take a few moments to think: ….. …. … .. . Because we want our Samples and Appetizers to... Make people hungry for our Main Course. And we can ONLY do that if we know what our Main Course is. Wouldn’t it be weird if you had sushi as an Appetizer and a cheeseburger as your Main Course? Maybe some folks might find it tasty? But most would find it weird. We want our Samples and Appetizers to lead into our Main Course. Mini meatball → Caesar salad → Prime Rib. Shrimp cocktail → Sushi → Ribeye Steak. Hash browns → Sausages → Mushroom & Ham Omelette. Do you see how it leads from one dish to the next? This is the congruence we want with our Offer Buffet… and the easiest way to do that is to start with the end in mind. "If my Main Course is Prime Rib… what are some good Samples and Appetizers to get people excited for that? That go well with that?" With my education biz - I knew I wanted a Main Course helping people build their audiences, create their offers, and sell their offers. So I mapped out my Rainmaker Inner Circle which helps people do that and get to $1k/day. And now I can create Samples and Appetizers that lead into that nicely. Another reason we start with the Main Course is because the best way to make big money from a small audience is through big-ticket offers. Let’s say you want to make $100k online… Would it be easier to hit that by: A) Selling a $100 offer B) Selling a $10,000 offer ??? If you go with option A you’d need 1,000 customers. If you have a 10% conversion rate that means you’d need 10,000 people in your audience which could take a while to get. If you go with option B you’d need 10 customers. If you have a 10% conversion rate that means you’d need 100 people in your audience. So as you can see… Unless you already have a big audience? It’s a lot easier to hit $100k+ with option B. Selling a $10k Main Course offer to 10 people. Now you might be wondering… What do you include in a $10k offer? You’ve got a few different options. If you’re just getting started - there’s nothing better and easier to sell than a done-for-you service. If you’ve already got experience and results in a certain area - you could sell a leveraged group coaching/consulting program. If you like working closely with clients - you could have a 1-1 coaching/consulting deal. I’ve even sold 2-day virtual workshops for $5k before. The delivery model will depend on your background and preferences. And to be honest - it’s not that important. The customer/client doesn’t care much about the "how". They care about the outcome. The "what we’ll get done together". So the important thing is figuring out what you’re going to get done together. For my Email Side Hustle course - we’re going to make $1k-$5k/mo+ writing simple 5th grade emails for other biznesses. For my Rainmaker Circle - we’re going to build a lean online bizness that brings in $1k a day. For my done-for-you service - we’re going to add $50k-$100k/mo to your biz in 30-60 days and you only pay me a % of the sales I bring in. Do you see how powerful and clear that is? Don’t talk about your product or service. Talk about what you’re going to get done together. Your One Thing Determine your Main Course and what you’re going to get done together. In the next lesson we’ll talk about the perfect Appetizer.
