Friend, November might be a few months away, but election season is already in full swing. So much is on the line this year, from abortion access to better wages and working conditions to our fundamental right to vote. Future progress on all of these issues depends on protecting our razor-thin Democratic Senate majority – and if we wait until the fall to take action, it’ll already be too late. [That’s why I’m asking you to support my friend and colleague Sherrod Brown today. Sherrod is in the fight of his life in Ohio, and experts say this race could decide Senate control, so please: Give every dollar you can to split between Sherrod and Hold Them Accountable to help reelect a true champion for working families.]( Here’s why I’m so worried about this race: Experts are calling Sherrod one of the most vulnerable senators on the ballot, and national Republicans smell blood. They’re already spending millions to flip this seat and the Senate red, and Mitch McConnell’s super PACs just made their largest ad investment EVER to try to take down Sherrod. Now, polls show this race is neck and neck, so Sherrod’s counting on US – you and me, friend – to help him pull ahead. Unlike his wealthy self-funding opponent, Sherrod can’t write his campaign million-dollar checks. That’s why I set a personal goal to raise $75,000 for Sherrod’s campaign by midnight tonight, and I need you to help me get there. If we lose this race, we lose the Senate, plain and simple. With that in mind, will you rush $5 or more -- split with Hold Them Accountable -- to help Sherrod win in Ohio and defend our Senate majority?
