Are you familiar with the cobbler without shoes? : Here's to cobblers with shoes! How Dana Malstaff

Are you familiar with the cobbler without shoes? [image] From Nathalie Hi {NAME}, Are you familiar with the cobbler without shoes? It’s when the thing you do for others ends up coming last for yourself. That describes the state of our membership site - prior to this summer. We built AccessAlly for our own courses originally, and then offering the plugin became our primary business. Since our focus shifted, our members area stayed mostly static. We were using an old WordPress theme from 10 years ago that was no longer being updated… and we hadn’t implemented all of AccessAlly’s new features into our own site. But all of that changed this summer: we rolled up our sleeves and refreshed our members area. Woohoo! We also took the time to showcase each of AccessAlly's newest features in our redesigned demo experience. From gamification, private notes, certificates, teams and directories... [Check it out](=): [image](=) Here's to cobblers with shoes! [image] Momentum Tip #17 Big projects, like our membership site redesign, are a powerful way to uplevel your business. But big projects can also be hard to start and finish. The solution? Breaking big projects into smaller chunks. Stay with me, I know it sounds too simplistic to work. But often our brains get overwhelmed with a big goal that feels hard to take on. By splitting up the project into smaller steps, your brain can see that each step is doable. It reduces overwhelm and most importantly gets you into action. That's how we broke down our big site redesign: - First we created mock ups of what we wanted to update and how it would flow - Then we split the implementation up into sections - Finally, we had a testing round to catch anything we might have missed Project managing a big goal is work in itself. But it helps you get there faster, and more confidently. Here's what he had to say about his experience using AccessAlly: "AccessAlly has an edge due to its’ usability. All of AccessAlly’s documentation AND shortcodes are natively accessible within WordPress. For example, if I want to accomplish a function with a particular shortcode, but maybe I don’t know its name, not only does AccessAlly tell you exactly what a shortcode does FROM INSIDE WordPress, but there’s a native selector where I can just click to embed the shortcode, rather than have to type or copy/paste it in."
