There will always be surprises, and often how we feel about the changes is what matters. [image] From the Founder Hi {NAME}! I'm thinking about transitions a lot these days. There are obvious ones like moving to a new place or starting a new relationship. But there are other transitions that sneak up on you too. Like birthdays, the start of a school year, or the holidays. In a sense, we all know they're coming. We can prepare for the disruption that we anticipate... But there will always be surprises, and often how we feel about the changes is what matters. If we're feeling good about another year around the sun, or the way our routines shift... then great. But sometimes reality doesn't match our expectations and there's some frustration there, too. Recognizing that when we release our expectations we are better able to move into what comes next can be very liberating. Here's to being comfortable with the changes that come along in all our lives! [image] Momentum Tip #12 Getting better at what you do is one sure way to increase your momentum. Sometimes it's obvious how you can improve, but other times it's a hard to know if you're moving in the right direction or not. One way to hone your marketing chops is to perform small experiments. One such experiment is to split test your email subject lines. This is a tip from [Tarzan Kay](, who was a guest on the Off The Charts podcast recently... Start by writing at least 4 subject lines for your emails. Usually the last 2 will be the best. Why write more than one? Because if you spent time writing a whole email, but you don't make the subject line good - then no one will read that email. Using an email platform that lets you split test subject lines means that each time you send an email, you'll get better at writing subject lines that resonate. There might be other ways to do small incremental tests like this too!
