Back in 2015 I coined the term "income claim marketing" to talk about how online business owners use how much money they make... to make more money. When I entered the software business space, I figured that income claim marketing would be less prevalent. But I've found that the startup space takes income claim marketing to a whole new level. Instead of boasting about how much money a company is making, they boast about how much money they've raised... in order to get more money. It's the same idea: all of these people who put their money into this couldn't be wrong. I'll put mine in there too, and reap the rewards. But as we've seen with more startups, crypto ventures, and well-funded companies like WeWork... It's not about the income or the money raised. It's about the value you provide for your clients and customers. If it's not there, it doesn't matter what numbers you shake in someone's face. It won't last. Here's that original post from back in the day: [( No hype here. -Nathalie "not into hype" Lussier You're receiving this email because you've subscribed to updates from AccessAlly. Thank you!
