Hi, A few weeks ago I promised I'd share the full behind-the-scenes process we undertook to rebuild our website. Whether you've heard about it or not... Google has been using site speed metrics to decide which websites to prioritize in the search results. And if you've had your existing WordPress website for any number of years, your site has likely accumulated a lot of "fluff" over the years that may be slowing it down. At least, ours had. That's why we decided to undertake a full website redesign and build our site from scratch in a staging environment, to improve our site speed. It was a multiple month project, and in this post I'm sharing it all... What went well, what our new tech stack looks like, and the mistakes I made. Click here to give it a read: [() You'll see the process we went through and hopefully find a new idea or tool that helps you on your own website journey, too. Happy reading, -Nathalie "website nerd" Lussier P.S. Leave a comment and let me know if you've undertaken this type of overhaul project before, and how it went so I know I'm not alone!
