As we celebrate May the Fourth, I'm reminded of the epic battles fought in galaxies far, far away. But here in Virginia, we're facing our own battles against divisive rhetoric, threats to our democracy, and political turmoil. May the Fourth be with you, {NAME}! As we celebrate May the Fourth, I'm reminded of the epic battles fought in galaxies far, far away. But here in Virginia, we're facing our own battles against divisive rhetoric, threats to our democracy, and political turmoil. Much like the Rebel Alliance fought against the Empire, we're fighting against the forces of division and dysfunction in our capital. I find their lack of faith in our Virginia neighbors disturbing. Extreme voices in our Commonwealth are threatening to move us backward with attacks on voting rights, reproductive rights, and our public schools. But defeating divisive rhetoric won't be easy. It will take dedication, determination, and resources to make sure we can bring people together to solve the real issues facing our Commonwealth — like lowering costs for families, strengthening our schools, and protecting our fundamental freedoms. Throughout my time in Congress and now as I campaign for Governor of Virginia, I've always been a champion for bringing people together to get things done. But national Republicans are working overtime already to defeat me, and the odds are great. But never tell us the odds! That's why I'm reaching out to you today. Your contribution to our campaign will help us in our quest to defeat division and build a Virginia that creates opportunity and a new hope for everyone.
