I am running for Governor, because I know what I will bring to the job – a deep and abiding love for our Commonwealth, a relentless work ethic, and a focus on bringing people together to solve the real challenges facing Virginians. You may be receiving this email because of your past support for Democrats in Virginia and across the country. We need your support to elect Abigail Spanberger as Virginia’s next governor, but if you’d prefer not to receive emails from our campaign, you can [unsubscribe]( at any time. Robert, Let me put the bottom line upfront: I am running for Governor, and I need your support! Now, let me tell you why: Years ago, I swore my first oath to our Constitution. I enthusiastically embarked upon a journey and a career of public service — first in law enforcement and then at CIA. I worked at home and abroad to keep our country safe and protect the country I love. When my husband Adam and I moved our three daughters home to Virginia – just miles from where we had grown up – I thought my days of public service had come to a close. But after the 2016 election, our country was at a crossroads, and I envisioned what it could be if we flipped Virginia’s 7th District and made clear that the people of our district deserved stronger representation. I worked hard, we built an extraordinary team driven by purpose and principle, and in 2018, our district elected a Democrat – me – for the first time since 1968. I have served proudly through some extraordinarily consequential moments in our history, and I have endeavored to do right by my constituents every day. I am proud of the work I have done, the laws I have passed, and the difference I have made. And now, our Commonwealth is at another crossroads – do we continue moving backward with attacks on our rights, our kids’ education, and our communities’ sense of security — or do we move forward on a path of progress? Virginia’s elections showed that Virginians want to move forward, but we need a new Governor to be driving that progress. I am running for Governor, because I know what I will bring to the job – a deep and abiding love for our Commonwealth, a relentless work ethic, and a focus on bringing people together to solve the real challenges facing Virginians. [It is a long road to the 2025 Governor’s election, but will you join me now and add your name to our growing list of supporters to endorse my campaign for Governor? I am working to build a strong foundation of support, and I need your help.]( [ADD YOUR NAME]( Thank you, Abigail --------------------------------------------------------------- Paid for by Spanberger for Governor Spanberger for Governor P.O.
