[View this email in your browser]( [A Beautiful Mess]( [Oui Fresh]( [Courses]( [Blog]( [Beauty Box]( I get a lot of DMs and emails from influencers, brand accounts, and even non-influencers about Instagram. Hundreds of messages all asking a version of the same questions: why does the algorithm hate me? Why am I not growing on Instagram anymore? They’ve tried curating aesthetically “perfect” grids and have experienced little to no growth in months, maybe years. It’s easy to blame this disappointment, confusion, and frustration on algorithm changes. Especially for accounts that were flourishing during the chronological feed days (ah, remember when?). Maybe they’ve hit a plateau. It’s possible they might even be losing followers and declining in engagement. How do I know? Because I manage an account that has experienced what I just described and have had to make a big pivot. On the flip side, I also have an Instagram account that has grown exponentially among the algorithm updates with no changes at all. So, here’s what I say to all those panicked messages: the algorithm DOESN’T hate you, it’s just trying to get people to stay on Instagram longer by showing users the content it thinks they want to see. With some tweaks to what you’re posting and a new outlook on your purpose for why you post, the algorithm can lead you to a new kind of success on Instagram. I can help you make those tweaks and find that purpose! A few years ago, I created the course [Elevate Your Instagram](. This course was designed for users who feel stuck and discouraged, who don’t know what to post anymore, or are just tired of posting in general. This course was written to reframe your entire outlook on the app. I’m so excited to announce that this course has been refreshed for 2021! A “2.0” version! There are new lessons covering reels, stories, affiliate marketing, and more. Our previous students now have access to the new material and they are absolutely loving it! Here’s what one of our students had to say about the course: “I purchased the Elevate Your Instagram class! After a few [lessons], I’m already feeling so refreshed and inspired to create content that’s authentic to my personality and interests. I haven’t posted on my feed for 6 months because of how crippling the pressure of social media became. I’m going to start sharing things I love again, because I WANT to, not because I feel obligated to. Thank you for inspiring creativity again for me!" — Sarah I would love for you to check out [Elevate Your Instagram](. If you think it sounds like something you could benefit from, we have a special offer on the course: 50% off for just 4 days. Another great feature we’ve added? You can now pay for the course in 4 installments over time to make it even easier. I hope you’ll join me in class! Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
