We must codify Roe

I'm furious, friend. A leaked document has revealed that a majority of justices on the Supreme Court have voted in favor of a draft opinion to ENTIRELY overturn Roe v. Wade. While the ruling is not yet finalized, last night’s news shows that Roe v. Wade’s days are likely numbered. This draft opinion is disgusting; it's insulting; it's dangerous; it's infuriating. We MUST fight back. Now that the Supreme Court seems likely to fail us, the only way to protect our right to abortion is by defeating extremists like Grassley, codifying Roe v. Wade into law for future generations, and ending the filibuster to do it. [I'm running to defeat Sen. Chuck Grassley – one of the biggest anti-abortion figures – to protect our right to choose. Almost four years ago to the day, I spoke out on the Iowa House Floor against an ultra-conservative six-week abortion ban. In Congress, I continued to fight for our right to choose, and I will do the same as the next U.S. Senator for Iowa. I also want you to know that I am more resolved than ever to defeat Sen. Grassley. You see, this might be a nightmare scenario for so many of us across the country, but for Sen. Grassley, it's a dream come true.
