- redeeming an AAdvantage® mile,
- having an active booking on an American Airlines marketed or operated flight,
- earning miles on a flight with American Airlines or any of our partner carriers, and
- primary cardholder spending on an AAdvantage® cobranded credit card. - Booked flights may have any future departure date, including departure dates past August 7th, 2023, as long as the AAdvantage® number is included at the time of booking, the flight is American Airlines marketed or American Airlines operated, and the PNR remains active.
- For AAdvantage® miles earned on a partner marketed and partner operated flight, the flight(s) must be completed no later than August 7th, 2023 at 11:59 PM CDT, and the miles must post to your AAdvantage® account no later than September 7th, 2023 at 11:59 PM CDT.
- For other mileage earn or redemption activity (including primary cardholder spending on an AAdvantage® cobranded credit card) to be considered qualifying activity, the underlying transaction must be completed by you no later than August 7th, 2023 at 11:59 PM CDT, and the earned or redeemed mileage must post to your account no later than September 7th, 2023 at 11:59 PM CDT.
