Check out the big movers this morning

Check out the big movers this morning                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 September 01, 2023 *Together with NASDAQ: NLSP Good day, 360 – Here are our top investing ideas today – these setups look primed! Be the best prepared trader on the Street! NVOS - Up over 50% in pre-market after receiving an underwriting clearance notice for a $70 million coupon EOSE - Up over 50% in pre after receiving a $398.6 million Department of Energy (DoE) conditional loan guarantee commitment for new project NTNX - Up over 18% in pre after beating on top and bottom line earnings and increased forward guidance *A message on behalf of Sica Media If you recall, we discussed this stock about a week ago, and said that we thought it was a great candidate for a reversal play: 🔥 NLS Pharmaceutics AG (Nasdaq: NLSP)🔥 At that time, the stock was purely a “technical breakout” idea. The stock had been trading in a very tight range for nearly a month and the setup looked perfect for a breakout at some point. NLSP did in fact make a double-digit move higher, and then consolidated one more time before making a clear breakout move higher, this time over 20% as it finally got back above $1 yesterday. While the price move has been great, it’s what the company quietly announced (they don’t like to toot their own horn!) inside of a non-descript [press release]( that really has our attention. ‘’On August 25, 2023, NLSP submitted a fast-track designation application for Mazindol ER for the treatment of narcolepsy to the FDA.” There are no guarantees, of course, but according to the [FDA](, “Fast track drugs” can be on the market in 6 months from the regulatory application! This has piqued serious interest from other pharmaceutical companies looking to “partner” with them. Folks, we are on the cusp of what I feel is something really big here. NLSP is no longer just a “reversal play.” There are so many catalysts around this stock right now that it would be absolutely foolish for you not to dig in👷and do your own research on the opportunity right now – it is the top stock we will be watching today. *Sponsored by Sica Media. Please see disclosures below. NVOS - Up over 50% in pre-market after receiving an underwriting clearance notice for a $70 million coupon Novo Integrated Sciences Inc (NVOS) together with its subsidiaries, provides multidisciplinary primary health care related products and services. It operates through two segments, Healthcare Services and Product Sales. The company offers physiotherapy, chiropractic care, manual/manipulative therapy, occupational therapy, eldercare among a host of other healthcare services. Yesterday in the after-hours [the company announced]( it had received an underwriting clearance notice from RC Consulting Group llc resulting in an unsecured 15-year $70,000,000 promissory note with the buyer for debt funding of $57,000,000. The note provides for a yield (non-compounding) of 1.52% (zero coupon) per annum and a maturity date 15 years from the date of issuance. The note is unsecured and there is no provision for the conversion of debt, issuance of any class of shares, or the grant of any warrants by the company to the buyer. Given that the company’s market capitalization at yesterday’s close was only $20 million according to Finviz, the $57 million debt funding will give micro cap NVOS access to significant funding without diluting existing shareholders. NVOS is up over 50% in pre-market on the news. $0.22 was support in the after-hours and has acted as resistance so far in the pre-market. Above it, targets to the upside are $0.24, and then the pre-market high of $0.2571. Beyond that, $0.3, $0.38, $0.5 and then a gap fill to $0.6693 come into play. Below $0.22, there is potential support at $0.20, $0.1850, $0.16 and then a gap fill to $0.14. EOSE - Up over 50% in pre after receiving a $398.6 million Department of Energy (DoE) conditional loan guarantee commitment for new project Eos Energy Enterprises Inc (EOSE) designs, manufactures, and markets zinc-based energy storage solutions for utility, commercial and industrial, and microgrid markets in the United States. In the after-hours yesterday, [the company announced]( 'Project AMAZE,' a $500million program to address long-duration energy storage demand by increasing storage capacity. In addition, The Department of Energy's (DOE) Loan Programs Office (LPO) has issued an up to $398.6 million conditional commitment for a loan guarantee, which, if the loan is finalized, is expected to fund 80% of the expansion in Pennsylvania. The stock is up over 50% in pre-market on the news. The $4.72 area was support in the after-hours and will be an important level to watch this morning. Above it, targets to the upside are $5, $5.20 and then the after-hours high of $5.50. Beyond that, $6.50, $7.50 and $8.50 come into play. Below $4.72, there is potential support at $4.50, $4.20, $4 and a gap to fill at $3.25. NTNX - Up over 18% in pre after beating on top and bottom line earnings and increased forward guidance Nutanix Inc (NTNX) provides an enterprise cloud platform in North America and internationally. The company offers hyperconverged infrastructure software stack that converges virtualization, storage, and networking services into a turnkey solution among a host of other cloud services. In the after-hours [the company reported]( Q4 EPS of $0.24 vs $0.16 expected. Q4 revenue came in at $494.2million vs $475.25 estimate. NTNX guided Q1 revenue of $495-$505 million vs $487.22 estimate. It also guided Full Year 2024 revenue of $2.085-$2.115 billion vs the $2.08 billion consensus. The stock is up over 18% in pre-market after the earnings release. The $36.10 area was resistance in the after-hours and acted as support in the pre-market. Above it, targets to the upside are $37 and then the pre-market high of $37.41. Beyond that, $40 and $44 come into play. Below $36.10, there is potential support at $35, $34.75, $34, $33 and then a gap fill to $31.10 Showdown In Motor City - The United Auto Workers have officially filed unfair labor practice charges against General Motors and Stellantis to the National Labor Relations Board. Given the Biden Administration’s support of organized labor, that could be a major threat to Motor City’s automakers. Ford escaped a complaint for now, but the UAW heavily criticized a counterproposal Ford offered during negotiations. Don’t rule out a strike for any and all of them. Portnoy Lays Off Barstool Staff - Dave Portnoy pulled off one of the best business deals in history when he reacquired Barstool Sports recently. But the bad thing about a takeover is that it usually means layoffs. So it is with Barstool, with Portnoy announcing that about 100 workers are being given the heave-ho. It represents about a quarter of the workforce. Oosh, Bad PR Headline - According to the U.S. Virgin Islands, JP Morgan Chase processed more than $1 billion for Jeffrey Epstein over 16 years. He was a client from 1998 to 2013. The Virgin Islands are suing JP Morgan Chase, but the bank has charged that the territory is at fault for having a close relationship with the financier. Epstein himself might know more, but remember, he “committed suicide.” Inflation Picks Up In July - The Fed’s preferred inflation gauge ticked up in July, with the Personal Consumption Expenditures price index up 3.3% in July. That’s a big decline from last year - but well above the Fed’s ambitious 2% target for inflation. That might mean another interest rate hike. Feds Restrict NVDA Exports To Middle East - The United States is tightening the screws on the rest of the world in order to prevent rivals from getting the most advanced computing technology. Nvidia A100 and H100 chips will be banned from expert to certain Middle Eastern countries. Nvidia warned the restriction will have an “immediate material impact.” Ukraine Crosses Key Russian Trench Line - Russia has prepared three trench lines to guard its occupied territory in Ukraine, but Ukrainian forces have crossed the first of three trench lines after a bruising offensive. Drone footage shows Ukraine has crossed fortifications near Verbove. The so-called Surovikin Line is well prepared… but Ukraine has an advantage, as General Surovikin of the Russian army, considered perhaps the most competent commander, lost his job because of his closeness to Wagner paramilitary chief Yevgeny Prigozhin. Niger Orders Out French Ambassador - If France was hoping to get the coup regime in Niger to back down, it has failed. The ruling junta has ordered out the French ambassador and police have been told to expel envoy Sylvain Itte. His visa and those of his family have also been canceled. France doesn’t recognize the regime and says the actions are illegitimate. No More Heated Gamer Moments - Activision will be using AI to perform real time chat moderation, including monitoring for hate speech. “ToxMod” will supposedly identify and act against “harmful language” in chat and text. I predict an arms race to invent new offensive terms. Now This Is Pod Racing - It’s never been more over than it is now. An AI has beaten humanity in indoor drone racing. It’s one of the first times AI has beaten people in a real-world competitive sport. One, it shows that AI (despite mishaps) is becoming increasingly good at handling massive amounts of information. Two, I didn’t know indoor drone racing counted as a real-world competitive sport. EU Forces Teams To Split From Office - The European Union is flexing its “regulatory superpower,” and it has already forced change on Microsoft. MSFT will allow customers to buy Teams and Office separately after the EU began an investigation. The change will take effect on October 1. These days, when somebody says “begin an investigation,” it means “do what we want or we take all your money.” [Economic Calendar]( To Your Success! *This investment involves substantial risk.
