Revenue for the quarter was $333.6 million versus $305.09 consensus. Guidance for the full year 2023 was $0.29-$0.31 vs -$0.31 consensus. MDB reported and guided surprise profitability and this sent the stock over 27% higher in the after-hours. The $186 area was a major prior resistance and is also the pre-market high this morning. That will be an important pivot for today. Above $186 the next target to the upside is $194.5 and then $200. Below $186 there is potential support at $180, then $176 and $170 below that. SMMT - 2nd day play, closed up over 194% yesterday on partnership with Akeso SMMT announced a definitive agreement of partnership with Akeso to license its breakthrough antibody. The deal was worth $5 billion as Akeso is eligible of up to $4.5billion in milestone payments and $500 million up front in exchange for the license. SMMT trended all day on the news and closed near the highs. Yesterday’s high of $2.34 will be an important pivot for SMMT today. Any short sellers were taken to the woodshed yesterday as the stock closed near the highs. However SMMT is gapping lower this morning so the move could be over. Above $2.31 the next targets to the upside would be $2.80, $3 and $3.44. Below $2.31 there is potential support at $2, then $1.74 then $1.44 below that. DDOG - Trading in sympathy with MDB’s results Datadog (DDOG) is trading 2% higher this morning in sympathy with MDB’s earnings results. Whilst the tech sector and overall market are showing weakness and are in negative territory this morning, DDOG is gapping higher. Being in the same sector as MDB, if MongoDB can hold or even continue higher, traders might look to re-price and scoop up some DDOG shares which may now be relatively cheap given today’s reaction to MDB’s results. There is after-hours resistance at $70.87. Above it the next targets to the upside would be $72 and then $74 followed by $75 and $75.80. Below $70.87 the next major support level is $68 which would fill the gap. Below that the next stop would be the 52 week lows in DDOG at $66.45 with the next major support level being at $62.50 below that.
