Dr. Jennifer Mandelbaum, a pro-choice public health expert, and Erik Johnson, who serves on the Lee Boards of Sustainability and Energy, are running in TWIN special elections and will be on the ballot next week! If they win these races, Democrats will net two seats and virtually tie control of the chamber. IN MICHIGAN: Due to a resignation, Democrats have LOST control of the State House we worked so hard to flip in 2022. If Democrats win these twin special elections next month, Democrats will REGAIN control of the chamber and can continue to deliver results from their historically productive session. IN ALABAMA: Pro-choice Democrat Marilyn Lands, who is a licensed counselor and has a background in the aerospace industry, will be on the ballot in less than one month in a top red-to-blue flip opportunity.
