The NRA accepts tens of millions in tax-exempt donations every few months because it argues it is legally a “social welfare” organization that focuses on “education” and “training.” A slush fund for millionaire executives and Republicans trying to finance their re-election campaigns does not deserve to be a tax-exempt organization.
