Green Hosting, Open Source Awards & more.... [View this email in your browser]( Hi {NAME} In this month's newsletter, there's news on the 20i FOSS Awards, Green Hosting and more - read on! The 20i FOSS Awards To celebrate the best Free and Open Source Software (FOSS), vote for your favourite self-hosted apps in the 20i FOSS Awards! The 20i FOSS Awards recognise the best open source projects that make our lives easier, and honour those developers keep them going. We've nominated our favourite FOSS in categories like Ecommerce, CMS, Knowledge and Documentation, CRM and Support, Project Management, Email, Community and Social, and Analytics. It's easy to vote - [just visit this page]( - choose the category, and click on your choice. You can vote in whichever categories you like, and you'll be able to see a 'league table' of voting. Winners will be announced on 12th April. You can read [more about the awards]( on the blog. Show the open source community some love and [vote today]( Green Hosting In case you missed our announcement: 20i web servers are now supplied by 100% renewable energy. You can read more on our [website here]( and in our [blog post](. If you'd like to show off your green credentials on your website or app, we've created some [free Green Hosting Badges]( that you can use. [Platform Transfer]( Platform Transfer Updated We've updated the [Platform Transfer]( tool UI in response to your feedback. It now shows both the platform that the current package is on (e.g. WordPress, Linux, VPS), and the location of its origin data centre (UK or USA). It shows this as soon as you choose the package to transfer, making it a more straightforward process. The Platform Transfer tool is used to move packages between hosting platforms: from Linux to WordPress Hosting, or WordPress to Managed Hosting, for example. My20i Improvements We've updated the user interfaces of our Account, Security and Web Tools sections in My20i. These updates are aimed at improving your user experience - so any [feedback]( would be welcomed. [Status messages]( Better Hosting Status Notifications We've improved news alerts about the 20i platform within My20i, on the [Contact Customer Services]( page, making them more dynamic. You'll now get more information about planned maintenance updates or issues. The messages will change as we carry out our essential work - avoiding the necessity to visit StackStatus.com. PHP Updates The latest PHP version updates are PHP 7.4.28, PHP 8.0.17 and PHP 8.1.4. Further information can be found at [PHP.net](. Python Updates We've updated Python to its latest versions - 3.9.11 and 3.10.3 - across our shared hosting. You can find out more about the new versions and see full changelogs at [Python.org](. [Domain transfer]( [Roundcube]( Roundcube Review Here's our first-impressions review of Roundcube, the email client. Read about its pros and cons [in this post]( about one of our one-click install Linux apps. [USA]( Is 20i Reseller Hosting the Best in the USA? No prizes for guessing what our conclusion to this is...but [read on for our reasons](. It includes a detailed comparison with other major US reseller hosting providers. Thanks for choosing 20i.
