The protest for the release of the leader of the Shiite movement, Ibrahim Elzakzaky turned deadly on Tuesday as protesters tried to force their way into the National Assembly gate.
It was gathered that they initially gathered at the Eagles Square in their usual protest. From there, the Shiite charged at security personnel.
Eyewitnesses account maintained that the security agencies shot in the air to disperse the protesters. This, however, did not deter them. One of the protesters snatched a rifle from a soldier and shot at a policeman. [Read more](
