Buhari jets to Jordan for World Economic Forum summit
President Muhammadu Buhari will depart Abuja on Thursday, April 4 for Amman, the capital of Jordan to honour an invitation by King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein to participate in the World Economic Forum (WEF).
This was contained in a statement by the Presidentâs Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina who revealed the WEF on the Middle East and North Africa is scheduled to take place at the Dead Sea, Jordan. [Read more](

Onnoghen to receive retirement benefits of N2.5bn
The suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Walter Onnoghen is set to get retirement benefits in cash and kind up to N2.5 billion if President Muhammadu Buhari implements the recommendation of the National Judicial Council (NJC).
As part of the package for a retired chief justice, a house will be built for him in Abuja with a nine-digit sum for furnishing â in addition to a severance gratuity that is 300% of his annual basic salary of N3,363,972.50, as well as a pension for life. [Read more](

Australia to fine or jail social media firms who leave violent content on platform
Australia has passed a new law in parliament that will expose social media firms to a fine up to 10 percent of their global turnover.
Executives liable for not removing violent content 'quickly' off the platforms may face up to three years in jail.

Researchers from the security firm, UpGuard have found more than 540 million Facebook user records collected by two third-party companies exposed on Amazon cloud without passwords.
