'Oshiomhole will ensure APC's destruction come 2023' - Okorocha
The outgoing governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha on Monday, April 1 sounded a note of warning to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) about the possibility of its extinction before the 2023 general elections.
Okorocha made this declaration while addressing State House correspondents after meeting behind closed doors with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
He further alleged that the National Chairman of APC, Adams Oshiomhole has turned the party into a regional party. [Read more](

The National Population Commission (NPC) has said that the current overall life expectancy of Nigeria stands at 52.2 years.
The Acting Chairman of NPC, Alhaji Hassan Bashir, stated this in New York while delivering Nigeriaâs statement at the 52nd Session of the United Nations Commission on Population and Development.
According to the World Health Organisation, life expectancy refers to the average number of years that a newborn is expected to live if current mortality rates continue to apply. [Read more](

Three police operatives arrested over gruesome killing in Lagos
Three police officers have been remanded over the fatal shooting of a man, Kolade Johnson, in Lagos on Sunday, March 31.
