The U.S. market opened up mildly this morning because China's economic growth number was the lowest it's been in 30 years. Bad economic news is good news for the market for the time being. Last week, Fed Chair Jerome Powell threw fuel on the proverbial "we want a rate cut" fire with his comments to Congress. Traders won't be satisfied until they get that cut... - Earnings #1: Microsoft (MSFT) reports earnings on Thursday after the close. MSFT is the world's most valuable company at the moment, so all eyes will be on this behemoth's report. MSFT has tipped the scales as the third company to top the trillion-dollar mark.
