That was because it takes time to deconstruct the most likely scenarios and determine the path forward. News over the weekend revealed that the black box data shows similarities between the October and February crashes. That has pushed the stock down in pre-market trading to $365 - within $2 of the lows of the post-incident trading. It's now up to $370 at 8:30 a.m. and could trickle up from here. There is upside in BA stock for the intermediate to long term. But traders and investors may have to live through more volatility when picking an entry point. Last week we looked at Broadcom (AVGO) as one of the "haves" (vs. the "have nots") - in the beaten down semiconductor stocks. Its stock price jumped 10% on a strong earnings report, and MU will be looking to follow in their footsteps. MU was once the sweetheart of the memory sector - 10-Minute Millionaires made 100% on the stock during the big run up - and long after we exited, the stock got trashed in the second half of 2018. It has since rebounded and hopes to follow on the coattails of AVGO for good earnings news. But there's no doubt that MU's earnings are heading down - with a 40% earnings drop (year-over-year) expected. All eyes will be on their guidance for future earnings to see if the company expects the slowdown to continue or reverse. That guidance will not affect MU's stock but could impact other players in the memory space like Seagate (STX) and Western Digital (WDC).
